 In the common deaerator, there are many ways of deoxidization, such as thermal deoxidization, vacuum deoxidization, chemical deoxidization, analytical deoxidization, etc. , chemical deoxidization is often used as an auxiliary method.

This method is based on the principle that the solubility of any gas in water is proportional to the partial pressure of the gas on the surface of the water, when the pressure of other gases is reduced and the water surface is filled with steam, the water no longer has the ability to dissolve the gases, and all the gases dissolved in the water will be separated out, thus removing the oxygen in the water (containing all kinds of gases) .
